A bathroom which is always beautiful

Maintaining the long term beauty of your bathroom depends firstly on the quality of the products which you have chosen as well as on correct maintenance and cleaning. The use of particularly harsh detergents may cause partial or in some cases irreparable damage to the surfaces.
All Ceramica Dolomite products (functional parts and surfaces) are made to last, and we would like to offer some advice to help you keep your sanitary ware, brassware, baths, shower enclosures and furniture looking like new.

Tips for bathroom cleaning and maintenance

Regular washing with warm soapy water, taking care to dry the surfaces carefully after use with a soft cloth, is sufficient to keep all your bathroom fittings in perfect condition.

We do not recommend use of cleaning products which are based on alcohol or acid (in either liquid or powder form), nitrous solvents, acetone or any type of abrasive detergent.

For optimal hygiene and for the removal of any limescale or soap residue, you are advised to carry out periodical thorough cleaning using:

for sanitary ware (in Vitreous-China, Idealit, Fine fire-clay, Extraclay)
a bleach based non-abrasive detergent (gel or cream)

for brassware (with chrome/gold/painted finish)
soap and water
to polish chrome use standard automotive maintenance products.

for standard baths
Normal non-abrasive detergent (gel or cream) or a solution of water and bleach are sufficient to remove any soap residue that may accumulate on the inside of the bath.
To maintain the natural sheen of the material, dry the bath after use and cleaning.

for shower enclosures (in glass or Kerolan)
Non-abrasive detergent (gel or cream). To clean difficult-to-reach corners, use a spray solution of water and bleach.
The use of a water and vinegar solution is also recommended for the removal of limescale.

for furniture (lacquered or painted surfaces)
Use a soft damp cloth with a liquid detergent of the type used for furniture and painted surfaces.

for furniture (marble and diorite)
Anti-marking treatment or wax
Special commercial products
